I have a confession to make. I kinda have an unhealthy addiction for buying WordPress Themes.
Do you struggle with the same problem?
With so many options in the marketplace, choosing the right WordPress theme is difficult.
The right theme can help you instantly transform your site into one that you can be proud to display to the world.
The wrong theme can cause you all kinds of tech issues and quite frankly will make you want to pull your hair out trying to get it setup correctly.
But my friends…I don’t want that for you.
That’s why If you are a blogger or digital marketer, I am rounding up a list of WordPress themes for bloggers and digital marketers. These WordPress themes will definitely help you build a powerful online presence like a pro!
Let’s talk a little bit more about what WordPress themes are and five questions to ask yourself before choosing one.
5 Things to Consider Before Choosing a WordPress Theme
Whenever I am creating a website or blog for my customers, I always try to keep my customers
wants business objectives in mind.
I also look for some of these key features as well:
#1: Is the theme responsive? Mobile responsive themes work well on any type of device (mobile phones, tablets, desktops and practically any type of device). Plus, using a mobile responsive theme will increase your chances of ranking higher in the search engines like Google and Yahoo.
#2: Is there support available for the theme? This is one of the things that I love about Studiopress themes. There is a lot of support and documentation available to help you get your site setup correctly.
#3: What kind of add-ons and plugins is the theme compatible with? For instance, I have a shop on my blog where I showcase products. Whenever I am on the hunt for a WordPress theme, I check to make sure that it is compatible with essential plugins that I use to run my blog like Woocommerce.
#4: Is the theme well designed and easy to navigate? I visit a lot of websites every week and there is a common theme that I see: a lot of site owners make it damn near impossible to find what you are looking for. Keep it simple my friends! It’s best to opt for a theme that is clean and easy to navigate — versus one that has too much going on.
#5: What is the speed and performance like of the theme? A slow moving website is the worst. You want to make sure that the theme is fast and won’t slow down your site.
A Few of My Favorite WordPress Themes for Bloggers and Digital Marketers
I’ve scoured the web to find some power packed themes that I think any blogger or digital marketer can use to grow their brand like a champ! Here they are:
#1: Orleander Blog and Shop Theme from Solopine
Orleander is perfect for bloggers that want to sell digital products. I love the look and feel of this theme as it is clean, crisp and easy to navigate.
I’ve purchased themes from Solopine before and I was more than pleased with how easy it is to install them. I also love the flow of this theme. Your visitors will find it easy to navigate to find what they are looking for.
Another reason that I love this theme is that it’s easy to add your own branding elements to it (i.e, your color schemes and etc).
2. The Showcase Theme from Studiopress
Yes, they are a tad more expensive than some of the other themes out there in the marketplace, but in my humble opinion, it’s totally worth it.
I think this theme is powerful because it has several places for CTA (Calls to Actions) at the top of the page, the middle and at the bottom too that your visitors can’t miss.
I also love that there is an email form at the end of the blog to help you grow your email list.
3. The Digital Marketing – Blog WordPress Theme
As you can see from the screenshot below, this theme immediately displays a Call To Action to your visitors with an offer.
Then…directly below this to the right of the theme is a section that gives your readers an opportunity to opt in to your email list. Woo wooootttt!! So yea, I like this theme!
4. Victoria a Blog and Shop Theme by Bluechic

5. The Marketing Pro Theme
The Marketing Pro Theme is a multi-purpose WordPress theme that is focused on conversions! This theme has 6 different homepage layouts that you can use to create sites ranging from Digital Marketing to Business.
If I were using the Marketing Pro Theme, I would definitely focus on using the Digital Marketer homepage. The homepage has a section where you can add a call to action with an opt in form. This is excellent for increasing conversions to your blog.
The rest of the theme is very clean, and easy to navigate too which is really important from an end user experience.
6. SEO Rocket Theme
If you notice, that on the top of the page, there are two different buttons that you can use to call your visitors to action as soon as they land in your site.
